Sustainability.
This word gets thrown around the world of interior design frequently. As it should. We see the impact of waste constantly in our society, but what is the possible solution?
Buying products that are sustainably sourced and manufactured using sustainable materials?
Absolutely, that is first prize.
Alternatively, create custom-designed storage.
Both of these solutions are really expensive. More than most are willing to spend.
This is where Cycab comes in. Instead of buying a 'standard' huge cupboard, which means you buy more things to fill it, fill the space with an actual storage solution.
I spent a few years with a tape measure attempting to answer the question: "What is the average size of objects there is no storage for?" This meant measuring the average sizes of many (many) everyday items. It initially started with storage for Brompton bikes and grew to storage for luggage, golf clubs, baby buggies, yoga mats, the list goes on.
The key criteria for Cycab: The product had to be made from good quality materials, be modular so you can expand or move them as you need to, and they had to be easy to assemble.
Most of all, the sizes had to be versatile and practical for everyday items. The range can be adapted to suit your specific needs and accommodate a vast array of everyday items. The narrower depths and lower heights make it ideal for disabled people too. Not having to reach to the back of high cupboards or drawers. Best of all, if there is something that you specifically need, we can work with you to design it into your configuration! Get in touch to discuss your requirements
